Eligibility Criteria

Note: B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc/AMIE (from Institution of Engineers (India) Calcutta) or higher qualification in Electrical /Electrical and Electronics Engg will be considered only if the candidate has essential qualification. i.e. “Full Time Regular 3/4 years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an institute recognized by State/Central Govt. with minimum of 60% marks.” |

Age Limit
The age criteria for applicants are set by PSPCL norms, with relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government rules. The age limit is typically 18 to 37 years, and the cut-off date for age determination is 01 January 2024.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit
- SC and Backward class: 5 years over & above the normal maximum recruitment age.
- Ex-Serviceman (Self): Ex-servicemen of Punjab Domicile shall be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of Union from his actual age.
- Physically Handicapped: 10 years over and above the normal maximum recruitment age.
- In case of the following, the upper age limit shall be 40 years: Widow, Divorced women, re-married Women
Pay Scale
The Pay-Scale will be as per PSPCL financial circular no. 21/2022 dated 17.08.22. The minimum Pay admissible as per 7th CPC/Pay Matrix and report of the in-house Committee will be Rs.35,400/-.per month.
